Loss can hit you like a brick wall when you are going 70 miles an hour down the road of life. You were doing okay, had a purpose, had a destination, and had a road map of where you were going and where you had been. Now you stand motionless and in pain in front of a massive brick wall with nothing but miles of it to the left, miles to the right and no view over the top of the wall with the wreckage of what is left of the life behind you.
Like you, most of us aren’t given tools to get through that wall and are stuck. But there is a way through without having to continue the bare knuckle bleeding of body and spirit.
One of the new programs offered that I believe is the dynamite to blow a hole through that brick wall and give you the tools to stop living by default and start living by design is called the “Grief Recovery Method.”
It’s not if troubles and loss come your way…it’s when they come your way. Are you stuck? Do you know someone who is stuck? Are you self medicating to numb the pain?
Please considering making a change by joining a 12-week outreach “Group” program and/or a 7 session “One-on-one” program. What I am most excited about is a six week program dedicated to “When Children Grief.” This is for the parents and care takers of children who have suffered a loss.
My specialty would be helping those whose child has died but my practice will be all inclusive. I would never negate the 43 different categorical losses (Divorce, loss of a job, relationship, bankruptcy, health, and death of a loved one are just a few.) The pain felt at the time of any ones loss is felt 100%.
I have learned throughout my own search for a way through my pain that my mission in life is to “Create potential for a better tomorrow.” That can’t be done when there is no sense of hope.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I am looking forward to continuing to reach my full potential and to help others realize theirs so they also have the opportunity to stop living by default and start living by design.
